Happy Hoo-liday card

Used Jen del Muro's sketch to create this card for day 3 of Paper Craft Planet's 12 Days of Christmas challenges. The owl is built from PTI's set and I partially inked Unity's tree for his branch. Autumn Leaves flourishes around the outside edges. Bo Bunny paper, Stickles, glittery ribbon from Michael's and my nesties.

MFT Holiday Owls

Tried this technique with the moon and sky one more time. i like this one a lot better. These are MFT's Christmas Owls (I just isolated the owls out off the rest of the stamp). An old Christmas paper pack from Michael's, SU ribbon, silver ep and brads; Shimmerz Angel Wings brushed on the sky and Stickles on the owls' hats.

GKD Santa on the Rooftop

I totally CASE'd Melanie Muenchinger's treatment of the moon and rooftop for Santa. Love this silly image from Gina K's Funky Christmas set, and paired it with the All I Need to Know stamp from Unity stamps.
I think the concept was cute, but my execution of it and design are lacking. I think I made the rooftop image too large, and together there just wasn't much left to do to fit them on the card. I think I'll try again...

MFT Geranium card

This is for Julee's Mojo Monday #62 sketch challenge on Poetic Artistry. Used MFT's Geranium stamp and some DCWV All Dressed Up stack papers.
Some Target $1 spot ribbon, Brilliance Platinum ink on the edges of the image panel and watercolored on the flower pot, as well as Silver detail ep. Colored pencil with OMS, and use of the SU scallop edge punch and a scallop square Nestie.

MFT Flopsey Scholar card

This is for SCS's Bella Sketch challenge #56. I used MFT's Reading Flopsey set with some DCWV Grade School stack paper. This will serve as a thank you card for the Director of my son's after-school care. We are moving to another school, but she has been a tremendous support.

Colored pencil and Target $1 spot ribbon, with a tiny touch of Shimmerz Angel Wings on his glasses.

This card is for the MFT sketch challenge for November 20th in the SCS forum.  I used their new set It's a Cupcake Kind of Day.  Some older Chatterbox Gingerbread paper.  Stickles on the wrapper and Crystal Effects on the cherry.  A few rhinestones and ribbon.  My nesties for the circles and SU scallop punch for the trim across the middle.
Thanks for looking!

Billboardabella Happy Birthday card for SCS Bella sketch challenge #55

Stampingbella's Billboardabella on Black Market Paper Society's Lucky in Love paper. I popped the billboard sign and used a little touch of Stickles on the flower in her hair and on the heart on her shirt.
This was for Bella sketch challenge #55 on SCS.

My Cuppa Joe Thanks a Latte card

My entry for Jessica Fick's sketch challenge on Gina K's SCS forum.  I used the brand new release set by Rupa Sheude, My Cuppa' Joe.  Love it.  Such great coffee images.  Perfect for this colder weather.
Paper is also from my Gina K order, Black Market Paper Society's Lucky in Love.
Couple flourishes from a Studio G stamp and 3 brads...that's it.  Quick and simple.

MFT Flopsey Night Before Christmas

I made this card for Melanie's Mixology 101 challenge on Gina K's SCS forum to use 3 or more stamp sets together.
This is MFT's What's the Story Flopsey, borrowing one of the hats from the owls in MFT's Christmas Owls. And the "...Twas the night before Christmas" stamp is Studio G.
I also used Jen del Muro's sketch for November 8th.

Basic Grey Fruitcake and BoBunny dp.  Some Shimmerz on the chipboard star and hat fluff.  Lots of Distress ink.  Colored pencils and OMS.

Mojo Madness #60 Sketch Challenge

Here's my entry for Julee's Mojo Madness #60 sketch challenge on Poetic Artistry.  I used the "three little christmas trees" stamp from Stampingbella and an SU sentiment stamp.   The gift patterned paper is by Cloud 9 and the sparkly pink and metallic green cardstocks are DCWV.  Some American Crafts ribbon, Stickles, and Gamsol magic finish it off.

3 Trees card for Papertake Weekly Challenge

This is my answer to the Papertake Weekly Sketch Challenge.  No stamps this time...I was dying to use my new Cuttlebug cut and emboss trees.  Aren't they the cutest?  I added some Stickles to two of the trees, and backed the one in the middle with some red cardstock for the balls.  Basic Grey Fruitcake dp, and some miscellaneous embellies, including a button for my sentiment.
Great sketch!

Verve Holiday Sketch Blitz

Worked on the five sketch challenges for the Verve stamps site.  Julee is hosting 5 challenges in prep for their new release.  I attended a crop Saturday evening from 6PM-midnight and was able to finish up the three additional ones I needed, then rushed home to upload them before the midnight deadline.

Belated Birthday Card using H&M Stamps Lil' Behind

I didn't know it was one of my friend's birthdays, and felt badly that I missed it, so in addition to making her this belated birthday card using H&M Stamps adorable set "Lil' Behind," I bought her a set, too (she stamps).  I hope she likes it. I just fell in love with these adorable animals and the too-funny sentiments.

In addition to the stamps, which I colored with black marker and colored pencil, I used chalk on the inside background to suggest sky and grass. Used my Nestabilities to cut the oval and scalloped oval. The hole in the middle of the scallop goes the whole way through the front of the card and the cow is stamped on the inside.
